Change to Dinner Price

E-mail Print PDF

Important Meeting Changes

The Best Western TLC has lost its restaurant and will not be able to host functions like our monthly meeting. The next meeting will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Waltham.

The NES/OSA has been facing higher costs for the past several years and needs to make some changes to the price we charge for Dinners. We will maintain the current dinner prices for those reserving dinner on the requested date for the March meeting. Those making reservations after the sign-up date, up to the time of the meetings will incur a higher dinner price.

The updated dinner prices will be:

 Register on/before

NES/OSA Members and their guests$25.00 each $30.00
Students$15.00 $15.00

E-mail Print PDF

Save this date: April 21st, 2010

The NES/OSA is having an Industry/Student Networking evening at the Boston University Photonics Center on Wed April 21st. We are inviting the local optics industry to share experiences with students who are curious about what one does in optics after graduation. Students from the area universities are being invited though their local OSA Student chapters.

The meeting will begin with networking including refreshments and a light meal, followed by a panel of up to four 10 min talks and a Q&A session, finishing with time for further discussions. Our industry panel will draw speakers from New England's diverse industrial base such as Aerospace, Metrology, Lighting and Bio-Medical.

We encourage our regular members bring their stories, feel free to share any information about your companies or institutions, and we welcome postings for jobs or internships.

Information is available at NESOSA.ORG and will be updated to include our panel members over the next couple of weeks.
